Love Come-dies

hehe..guess wat...in the office now and slacking! time to blog! so how was ur weekends? I trust that u had a good one. I did...anywayz, watched Wimpledon.... hahaha....if u read KY's blog, u'll know. Sooo..i finally discovered why altho so many critics bomb the love comedies of today, and when so many of us go "ewwwww" when someone suggests watching one..... these movies earn a ton of money!!!! How many times have u seen a sappy love comedy at the top of the movie charts??

Here are a coupla reasons i can think of..

1. We just have this basal need to watch a sappy love comedy once in a while. This time can vary from a few days to a few years. But all in all, there are so many differing cycles in the world that it all works out for those money grabbing producers.

2. Some people need mood to make out one. Cann u imagine making out to Dead Poet's Society?

3. We all like to feel good. These movies fulfil that desire. At the end of the movie, we feel warm n fuzzy inside.

4. We got tricked into watching the bluddy show, which not only did not make us feel good, it made us feel worse.... bah
