Jamming
Well, some of ya'll know that i've always dreamed of becoming a musician. Welll.... one step at a time. haha.. I just joined this buncha guys to start a band. So we gon have our first jamming session this week. Wonder how that'll turn out..... hmmmm...Itz gonna be weird becoz we all listen to different music. The lead guitarist listens to alotta alt-funk, is RHCP, Spin Doctors etc etc. I'm more the hip hop kind while (most interestingly!) The bassist is like 60 years old! Siuwei! jus rite for u! hahhahahaha..
So the music we gonna TRY to play tends more towards the funk direction. Eh, if i ever get to perform anywhere ya'll must come support ok? hahaha..
in any case, some of ya'll might be wondering wat those people wearing bands out there are doin. Well, most of them are wearing the Livestrong band, which donates moeny to cancer research. But there are other bands out there too, so here's a quick summary of what is what.
Yellow - Livestrong (generic cancer)
Pink - Breastcancer
Orange - Anti-smoking/ AIDS
Light Blue - Beat Bullying
Blue n green - Seeing is Believing (Blind)
Blue 2 - Bone Marrow
Purple - Lupus/ Pro-life drive
Red - Support our troops (American)
Black - Die Hard (Anti-life)
I believe there are commercial bands out there too, of every color. Even glow in the dark ones... heh...
but then again.... good things come to those who wait..... trust me on this one... watch this space for a real good deal!!
