A feeling blanks over my eyes,
while I walk down the streets of night.
Something missing, something found,
questions beride me all around.
An expectation when I turn to look,
a shadow i probably mistook.
Now as time grows old,
I expect the heart to grow cold.
Holding pieces of a dream,
I turn to leave.
Last look back,
before I walk down a different street.
Chimpz in Heat
Hehe.. holla KY!! Anyywayz, onto the 2nd week of training man. We've started this crazy ass chat room among all the training batch during class, so there are a hundred comments firing off as the instructor is making his case. But there is one bad point about Sametiming (What we call it...itz like ICQ) during class. Somewhere last week, i was talking to Tim on Sametime. Then suddenly, the instructor asked to borrow my laptop for a demo on screen. So i gave it to him. just before he took it, Tim msged me something...and so there was a little blinking box at the bottom of my comp when the instructor put it up on the screen. "Soooo Mark, busy Sametiming eh?" He went..... ok lah, nuthin wrong there... they know we do it all the time.
So i went to SMS Tim and ask him what he msged me lah. That friggin Genius replied he msged me "Saiful (the name of my instructor) is an ass"!!!!!!!!! Wah lau eh! Mother siao liao lah.... i spent the rest of the time praying he wouldnt open the chat box.....
hahahhaa... well, look at it this way. I was awake for that session at least.
Realised that there are alotta nice places to eat aruond office. Hey, those that know pls tell me where else to go. So far been to Hong Lim (fave), Golden Shoe, Amoy Street, Far East Square. Anymore suggestions?
I think KY has heard this one.... but i've come to realise taht alot of people smell bad on the way home from work. Urrrrghz... makes taking public transport all the more gross. Hahahaha..yes yes..i'mma spoilt brat that prefers driving...sue me... hehehehe...
But seriously, when i get on the 66 or 170 bus, can die lohhhh!! There's this indescribable smell on it, thatz always there. And it takes all of me to not die on the bus....afterwhich i still have to walk 20 mins from the bus stop to me house.

First day, second day... knee bone connected to the neck bone...
Ole!!! After 2 whole days of listening to lectures, i have never felt more tired doing absolutely nothing.. hahahaha... seriously.... I mean, itz cool to have started working and all, but after the lay off of abt 4-5 mths from lectures and tutorials, the "attention pying" is really getting to me. Ended up reading Da Vinci code on my Palm during today's training...wahahahaha...
Some funny shit happened today man. Instructor was talking and he was telling us about the SIMULATION that was taking place next week. Except it came out as STIMULATION. No one laughed...can u believe that?????? hahahaha.... okokok...fine... i still laugh at toilet humour.... bite me..
My laptop's like used!! Bah.. someone took my new IBM and gave me a Dell1! Dammit! haha..but itz ok lah.... i like it... good enuff for me... shall go ard installing some new stuff when the instructors stop looking at me!!! Just my luck to be stuck in front... haha..okok...enuff for now... must be boring all of ya...

Finally finally finally got to club to Yeah!! after craving for it for months. Hmmm...wun rule out goin back in the near future tho... hahaha... but perhaps when there are less people. The drinks are totally good man... even tho they cost a bomb, u paying for quality man. After the first 2 jugs of Long Island, i think even the most hardcore of me frens felt a little of the effect. Didnt help that we had another 2 Gin Tonics and 2 Rum n Cokes to go. Ah well... the higher u are, the better the dance i saeee.. hahaha
Vast difference between Mambo and Phuture tho... people at Mambo EXPECT to be entertained lah... well, at least the regulars do.. haha.. the people at Phuture are, well........... just moving around alot... hahahaha.. Irritating lah. U dance abit then got some moron wants to move past you. And that moron turns out to be a whole line of morons. wah liewz.. BTH man.

Traditions...and house warmings...
Went to a house warming yesterday... funny how they come up with the word "house warming". U guys think itz a local hybrid or a legit word? Weeeellll.... last nite's one was ok lah... Good food, good company and nice place... but it got me thinkiing. How many of u rememeber getting invited to house warmings and absolutely DREADED going? I remember when i was younger and i totally hated going to house warmings. Because that meant going to a stranger's house (usually my parents' friend), mixing with people i dunno and doing absolutely nothing!!! AUUGH!
Here's how a house warming would go in the past...... *dreamy music plus wavy images* I would step out the car with an extremely grouchy look on my face. As usual, my mom would lay the smacketh down and threaten me with being grounded unless i behaved. I would taunt her by pulling the worst face i could until the host stepped into sight. Then it was angelic face all the way. Turn on the kiddy charm, u know wat i'm saying? haha... Soooo, the evening would begin with the buffet dinner. I would busy myself with the BEST food... that would be all the fried stuff. Then i would look for a place to sit. The adults would always place the kids at one table together.
GREAT... jus wat i needed to top the day off. Pointless kiddy socialising. Now, u know kids are never really good at socialising. So we would jus sit there and watch tv, while eatning in silence. The worst thing was that most of the kids were fricking channel 8... so i had to watch channel 8 shows.... bluddy hell. So i would spend the whole evening stuck there and only be too glad to go home when it was all over.
sheeesh...makes me kinda glad that i can actually CHOOSE whether i wanna go nowadays. hahaha...
Another thing that got my feathers ruffled was when i met up with my aunties and uncles and other family members. Seems that there are only a few choice subjects when the whole family is gathered.
1. How tall/ fat u've grown since the last time they saw you. Doesnt matter whether it was 3 years ago, they will still make a comparison.
2. Who's taller than who, among the cousins. Without fail, sooner or later, the children will be required to stand next to each other so as to allow the heights to be compared. I AM SOOOO SICK OF THAT! But i always win...so there.... all ur sons and daughters are dwarfs and shrimps and leprechauns and midgets and pixies and short... BAH.
