KTVs...

I have come to realise and confirm that KTVs epitomise everything i dislike.......

BAH!!!

First and foremost...when the damn karaoke pub is situated in the middle of Chinatown...got more unglam one or not?? "Where u goin tonite??? Zouk? China Black??"

PARTYWORLD??? Wadahell?? Partyworld? Wat kinda suck ass name is that???? I was embaressed to say that!! UGH...

Next thing that hits u when u get thru the tainted doors is the gawdy decor of the damn place. It looks like u jus walked into some rich taitai's dream home...except she forgot to install lighting... the walls were some marble green wall paper...and there was gold lining to the edges. Marble was def the order of the day as the table tops were also marble.

After ur visionary senses have been mercilessly assaulted, they bombard you with the smell of stale smoke. The smell of stale cig butts doused in rainwater.....yeah... THAT smell... U cant run away from the smell man

Onto the room. The room itself is quite spacious...so that everyone has sufficient room to not shove their asses in my face. But alas, the management has once again failed in its quest to provide good service for the FRICKING MIC CABLE IS TOO SHORT FOR THE ROOM. So everytime u wanna sing, u gotta mash ur face up against the screen!!!! And that doesnt help reading the text any becoz they're JUST out of ur peripheral vision..... (I exaggerate).....

Then comes the videos. The chinese songs are ok....... but when someone puts an english song on.....the video is how bad????? hahaha...itz like some fat Fillipino lady running on the beach, bouncing cellulite in the face of the camera. I rem one video where the Flip was painting the room for the whole video. The subtitles should have read "Mum told me to paint the room.......Oh, my oBeralls cannot contain my thunderous thighs....... Oh, the paint does not seem to be working.....I think i shall paint the whole time in slow motion...." DUH....

And last but not least....HOW irritating is it when ur frens sing off key?????? hahahahahah....u haf to maintain a grin on ur face like.... "Hahahaha.. This is so fun..." when actually watz goin thru my mind is "Screw you......sit down and shut up....i can sing betta even if i cant read the damn chinese words.... I'll HUM!!! Just shut up!!!"

For all yooooo angry people out there

Here's the angry song for the all the angry people out there.... btw guys..... WASSSSSUPPPP??!!!
hahaha.... this week gonna be in office most of the time.... oh yeahhhhh...time to slack and hide from seniors.... heh heh...

oh oh oh!! okok..i know wat to sae now. There's this guy u see. He hangs around PWC building every lunch time and after work. The thing is that he doesnt work here. PLUS he leers at girls!! Not jus pretty girls...ANY girl!! And guys too sometimes!! He's a middle aged man, dressed in a suit. Heard that he's gotten banned from the nearby gym for following ladies into the gym and also PWC building itself. The thing is that they cant do anything abt him becoz he stands outside, apparently on public property. Soooooo... genius chimp and me decided to follow him today. wahahahaha

We decided that we needed to know where this freak came from. Sooo, we followed him around after lunch, hoping that he'd be some demented MD or manager at a big financial institue and that we could sell the lousy ass story to The New Paper. (Or Teenage) He walked round Far East Square then to Golden Shoe, with us 2 idiots following him around, trying to adhere to all the golden spy rules we read in "How to be a spy" when we were in pri 6.

At one point, he suddenly turned around and headed straight for us!!!!! Immediately, we turned to the nearest shop (which happened to be a fruit shop).... i ordered jackfruit while he ordered a papaya.... !@##$$%... made me waste a buck...

In the end, he still ended up at PWC building.... so we've decided that we shall take one of these evenings to go and try to find out the origin of this piece of hermapheite crap.... hehe...

before i leave, ky swore that he saw that same guy following him home on the mrt. hahahahah...aroud Little India stop. So he got off the train and got on again at the last moment..... okok.. shall see if itz my turn to get stalked tomm.... if i dun return, u guys know wat happened to me....

While you were looking out there...

ok guys...imma gonna be super duper evil and blog about someone i saw over dinner yesterday. Or rather this family lah. First off, the mom. She looked like one of those taitais straight outta some HK/ Taiwan serial. Curly hair, lotsa make up, slightly pudgy. The thing that irked me was that everytime she ate something, she would stick out her tongue to "guide" the sppon into the mouth.........

wassup wif that man??? As disgusted as i was, i couldnt stop looking at the phenom........ i left a very queasy man indeed.

Also, i haf to say something abt her kids. The poor fella was being fed left rite center by the maid and his mom. Even when he wanted to eat something himself, they would snatch it outta his hand and feed him. Wassup man? Let the man decide!!!!! hahaha


Anywayz, how were ur weekends? good i trust. Shout outs to all those still studying...hang in there... jus a few more weeks. And it'll all be over..... heh...


Oh yeah. Went to Wala Wala's on Friday. I must say, its a pretty refreshing change to the normal clubs becoz of the live music. Singing our guts out to songs like Train's Drops of Jupiter, Commodore's Easy and Maroon 5's She Will be Loved are damn shiok man..... all the betta becoz nobody gives a crap whether u off key or not. hahaha... beats karoke hands down anytime. The drinks are pretty cheap also..... when there's 1 for 1 lah...that reminds me... all u pple that owe me money betta pay up... dun make me list names.... hahahaha....yeah....We shall all go!!!...someday...

Love Come-dies

hehe..guess wat...in the office now and slacking! time to blog! so how was ur weekends? I trust that u had a good one. I did...anywayz, watched Wimpledon.... hahaha....if u read KY's blog, u'll know. Sooo..i finally discovered why altho so many critics bomb the love comedies of today, and when so many of us go "ewwwww" when someone suggests watching one..... these movies earn a ton of money!!!! How many times have u seen a sappy love comedy at the top of the movie charts??

Here are a coupla reasons i can think of..

1. We just have this basal need to watch a sappy love comedy once in a while. This time can vary from a few days to a few years. But all in all, there are so many differing cycles in the world that it all works out for those money grabbing producers.

2. Some people need mood to make out one. Cann u imagine making out to Dead Poet's Society?

3. We all like to feel good. These movies fulfil that desire. At the end of the movie, we feel warm n fuzzy inside.

4. We got tricked into watching the bluddy show, which not only did not make us feel good, it made us feel worse.... bah
