!@#$% M1!!

Allow me to vent again. Funny i never thot of doing this when it first happened.

I'm sure all of you know that i went to the US in June. Well... here's the fiasco wif my handfone bill.

When in the US, we specially bought a pre-paid sim card to use, for sms purposes usually. This was to avoid the bluddy expensive roaming charges lah. So u can imagine my shock (and awe) when my fone bill came in, showing 800 fricking bucks. Upon closer inspection, i see many INCOMING calls that were made during the time i had the American Simchip in. So i'm like WTH?

I call them to verify and they say they'll investigate. Apparently they're version of investigating is checking with the American partner that they're call timings tally.

...........................

OF COURSE THEY'LL TALLY! IF NOT THEY WUN APPEAR ON MY BILL!!

Sheeesh... ALSO, the ID on these incoming calls are "unknown". I ask them to find out who they're from so i'll know if they're from legit people (and also so that i can go ard collecting money from those people that called me... hahahahha) BUT once again, they're BRILLIANT system can't trace the calls.

"If the calls are from a private line or overseas line, we won't be able to trace the calls"

But then again, if the calls are NOT from a private line or an overseas line, we'll never know now will we?

So i hold out for a few weeks, into Aug, then i get really sian. I actually consider paying up. 300 bugs... wat was i thinking?? Luckily enuff, M1 wasn't done being an ass. I offered to pay in installments only to be responded with "Sorry we don't allow payments in installments"

Upyour lah... people want to pay oso dun want. Watz wrong wif u people man????

So that settled it. Not gonna pay.

Ideas anyone??

Photograph...

We take many photographs... in fact, I believe we HAVE many photographs lying around, in our rooms, drawers and nowadays; Hard Drives! Haha.. but after the initial look-see, do we really go back to re-visit our pictures?

Photographs actually represent a huge part of our lives... Don't you think so? They help us capture moments that we'll never have again.. isn't that why we always make it a point to bring our cameras to any special events we'll be attending? Sometimes we forget to... and we don't realise the potential impact it may have.. What if something happens that's life-changing, and it all but becomes a forgotten memory (oxymoron?) in time to come. sometimes... i'm happy for my trigger happy friends... haha

It doesn't matter if we don't look good in our photographs.. I've had my fair share of Fugly Fotos (Hence forth which shall never be spoken off again).. hahaha.. but u know.... I don't care.. OF course initial reaction is "Hey where am i? Oh wait...... *curse and swear*" haha.. but the moment has been captured.. wat's important is that you'll be able to relive the emotions and euphoria that you experienced at that moment in time. The smiles, the tears, the rush... it all comes back with photographs doesn't it? I can safely say that by simply trying to remember the scene in my mind jus doesn't cut it.

I like finding piles of photos around the house... then i'll just sit there and go thru them. (Figures why i don't get much done huh... haha) The journeys take me thru my life again.. sec sch, JC, Army, Uni, starting work, family holidays/ gatherings.. a different journey with each pile. And you'll never get tired of taking that trip again...

Nickelback said it rite:
Every memory of looking out the back door
I have the photo album spread out on the bedroom floor
Its hard to say it, time to say it
Goodbye, goodbye

It's goodbye, not farewell.
We say goodbye to that specific moment, but at the same time, we're able to re-live it again, albeit not to the full extent, through our photographs.

When's the last time u looked through your photos?

Cisco.. your choice in security

Just drove past a Cisco armoured vehicle. Blazoned on the side, proudly declaring, "Cisco, your number 1 choice in security"

Then as the 4-wheeled tank majestically passes........

The vehicle alarm goes off.....

BWAAHAHAHAHAH....

Blog spam

I jus got spammed even more.. check da comments for the previous post.. hahaha

oh yes,.,, i meant to blog this yesterday..

While i was at the gym, after bathing and all, i was talking to my friend while packing up. Clothes, towel, shoes.... i realised i had some difficulty stuffing my shoes into my plastic bag. I looked down and to my amusement, i was trying to stuff them into someone elses's clothes plastic bag. So i promptly put it back and put my shoes into the correct bag. Poor bugger...
